“When a child discovers that they are worth something - that they can learn, laugh and belong - everything changes. That is what KAMINHOS is about.”
Sr. Anne Ritha Buretta CPS, Director of the project KAMINHOS
KAMINHOS means “paths” - paths of protection, education, dignity and hope. Founded in 2005 by the Missionary Sisters of the Precious Blood (CPS), our four daycare centres support more than 400 orphans and vulnerable children in Mozambique who are affected by HIV/AIDS, extreme poverty and the long-term impact of conflict. The centres provide daily meals, schoolsupport, safe spaces, emotional care and guidance - helping children rediscover trust and build a future of independence.
